Kirstin Birtwell, Ph.D.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and researcher specializing in neuropsychological, educational, and developmental evaluations and intervention.  My areas of expertise include neurodevelopmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, cognitive behavioral therapy approaches, acceptance and commitment therapy, and parent training and support.  I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University and completed my internship and postdoctoral training at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.  I hold faculty and academic appointments at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and have authored many peer-reviewed publications and book chapters related to my areas of expertise.  My research on innovative treatment approaches in autism spectrum disorder has been showcased on media outlets such as ABC’s 20/20 and I have presented my work at national and international conferences.
